Lactoferrin (LF), also known as lactotransferrin (LTF), is a globular glycoprotein with a molecular mass of about 80 kDa, which consists of two highly homologous lobes, designated the N and C lobes. Each LF molecule can reversibly bind two ions of iron. LF is a member of the transferrin family that transfers iron to the cells and controls the level of free iron in the blood and external secretions. It also has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-parasitic, anti-cancer, anti-allergic and radio protecting functions and properties. LF acts as an important component in the body immune system.
OsrhLF is expressed by the rice endosperm platform, which makes the manufacture capability at hundreds of kilograms scales.

Preparation and Storage
Reconstitution: Recommend to reconstitute OsrhLF at 100 mg/ml in sterile PBS. Further dilutions can be made in other aqueous buffer.
Storage: Stored at temperature 2~8°C for at least 24 months.
Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Yes, we do. From our comparative test, OsrHSA is structurelly and biochemically equivalent to pHSA, and functions equivalently to pHSA in terms of binding capacity and promotion of cell growth. In addition, OsrHSA displays the same immunogenicity as pHSA.
